Playoffs

Four teams faced each other in a single-elimination bracket, with semi-finals being best-of-three and grand final being best-of-five.

The first semi-final was played between Virtus.pro and mousesports. The game was of really high quality and the teams deserved each other – two of three maps ended with the close score 16:14, yet VP managed to come out on top of the series. In the second semi-final Team Liquid unexpectedly crashed SK Gaming 2:0 on Inferno and Cobblestone. Even though not being able to compete in the Grand Finals, SK Gaming didn’t let their feelings affect their performance and managed to win the match for 3rd place against Team VP.

The Grand Final was a pleasure to watch, with all 5 maps being played. Team Liquid showed dominant performance on Inferno (16:5) and Mirage (16:13), but it was not enough to beat mousesports, who looked unstoppable on Cobblestone (16:8), Train (16:9) and especially on Nuke (16:4). Mousesports become the winners of ESG Tour Mykonos and take home $120,000.

The tournament was held in the Greek island Mykonos on September 7-10. Eight teams competed for the $240,000 prize pool.
