Preview of IEM Oakland’s PUBG Invitational: Teams, Format, Schedule
The first PUBG stadium event is around the corner – IEM Oakland’s PUBG Invitational – will be held on November 18-19 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. The prize pool of the tournament is set at $200,000. Let’s take a look at the tournament’s format and schedule.
The event will feature 20 participating teams, which makes it 80 players in total. The players will compete in a set of eight FPP matches. Teams will get tournament points based both on their placement in matches and on number of kills within each match. The winner of the tournament will be decided by the result of all eight matches.
12 teams were directly invited by the tournament’s organizers, while the other 8 teams had to make it through the online regional qualifiers in Europe and North America.
