PGL Open Minor: Team Secret to Play in Bucharest

The regional qualifiers for PGL Open Minor have concluded, Team Secret is the last team to qualify for the LAN-finals of the minor tournament.

The tournament will be held in Bucharest, Romania, on October 19-22. Eight teams will battle each other for the share of $300,000 prize pool and 300 Qualifier Points. Out of 8 teams 6 were qualified through the regional competitions and 2 were directly invited:

• Evil Geniuses (Direct Invite)
• LGD Gaming (Direct Invite)
• Immortals (North America Qualifier)
• Digital Chaos.SA (South America Qualifier)
• Team Secret (Europe Qualifier)
• Natus Vincere (CIS Qualifier)
• Mineski (Southeast Asia Qualifier)
• VGJ.Thunder (China Qualifier)

The second minor of the season will be held in the PGL office behind the closed doors, i.e. without the live audience. Nonetheless, the list of participants feature some of the top-tier teams from all over the world, so the games are expected to be exciting – after all, this is going to be one of the first international tournaments in the season, and many teams have recently updated their rosters. No doubt, we’ll have plenty of interesting Dota 2 matches to watch.
