NA, EU and China regional qualifiers for StarLadder i-League invitational 3

StarLadder releases the list of participants of the closed regional qualifiers in North America, Europe and China. The competition will be held on September 18-24.

While the teams in CIS, SEA and SA regions already fight for their chance to take part in the first minor-tournament of the season, we finally got to know the list of teams who will participate in NA, EU and China qualifiers. And the list is quite impressive:

As you can see, there are some very big names in the list. For example, in the EU region it will be especially interesting to follow OG and Team Secret and their performance with updated rosters. On the other hand, the Greeks from mousesports are staying together and even though they recently failed to show a decent performance, considering their impressive run at The Boston Major 2016 they may become a dark horse once again. Chinese qualifiers are stacked as always and feature two teams with high TI7 placements: LGD Gaming (4th place) and Invictus Gaming (5-6th place). The main competitors of the NA qualifiers are Evil Geniuses with Fear back in the game on the captain role, reunited compLexity gaming and, surprisingly, Team Phoenix – reincarnation of an old MVP.Phoenix Korean squad.

The regional qualifiers in EU, China and North America will start on September 18 and last for seven days. The winner of each regional competition will make it to the LAN-finals in Kiev, Ukraine, which will take place at Kiev CyberSport Arena on October 12-15.
